I found a copy of my original game, made when I was in 6th (?) grade. It's a Mac-only app, because I was a hipster like that back then.

As you can see, the game itself, while impressive for a 6th grader, is utter crap. Aside from the obvious, the hit detection is buggy -
Kano's crouching B and all of Reiner's strikes hit multiple times if you press any attack button. Jumping is useless, as it freezes the game. No animations for anything. Worst of all, blocking...is a BUTTON! *GASP*
...Well, granted Mortal Kombat does it well, I'm not Midway.
Anyhow, this was the first of many attempts. Along the way, I've had many iterations (all of which sucked), but the engine I imagined steadily improved (though it wasn't implemented in the original, for obvious reason).
